Project Management

As the Content Manager for Rustic Pathways, I had the unique opportunity to lead annual projects with contributors and stakeholders around the world. That experience taught me how to set project goals, meet deadlines and hold others accountable for work that I was ultimately responsible for delivering.

Print catalogs

Rustic Pathways publishes four print catalogs each year to promote its programming. I oversaw the production of those by creating project timelines and setting deadlines, sourcing content from contributors around the world, writing and editing copy, working directly with the lead graphic designer on visual elements and getting approvals from senior leadership. Annual reports

The Rustic Pathways annual Impact Report quantifies its impact on students and the communities where they travel. I also led this project by setting the project timeline, sourcing content from the director of the Rustic Pathways Foundation and Rustic’s Student Impact Director, writing and editing copy and partnering with other members of the marketing team on design and promotion.

Sales enablement

I oversaw sales enablement at Rustic Pathways, which included training new salespeople about the brand and maintaining a sales resource library. I worked closely with graphic designers to create customizable presentation decks and scripts, client-facing one-pagers, and internal guides and talking points docs. Other resources included blog posts, videos, webinars, buyer personas and email templates.

Webinars

I created a weekly webinar series that converted 30% of the leads who registered. Attending leads converted at nearly 40%. I came up with topic ideas, sourced and coached hosts, wrote scripts, worked with graphic designers to create presentation decks, and scheduled the events. I also worked with other members of the marketing team to promote the webinars.
